Bad Week
Monday: Afternoon: Received back my not-very-well-done Imaging and Animation assignment with a mark of 29/60. Result: Need to do well on the second assignment, which I'm now much less confident about.
Evening: Handed in my programming assignment, after furiously trying to add at least some validation to it (one of the requirements). Discovered far too late that my last-minute additions broke one of my functions, so I've probably lost quite a few marks for that.
Tuesday: Discovered that skipping my Imaging and Animation class on monday (curse Warcraft III!) could lead to a penalty on my second assignment... just what I needed. Missed Programming lecture due to a student-staff meeting.
Wednesday: Finally received the mod from my group to begin scripting for my Games Studio assignment. Stayed up most of the night working on it.
Thursday: Intended to come to Imaging and Animation class this day, but overslept. Skipped maths to continue working on mod, and stayed up most of the night.
Friday: Missed Maths practise class (assessable) due to oversleeping (despite intending to not sleep at all that night). Intended to come to second practise class, but missed that also due to leaving something at home when I left for uni, that I had to go back for. Missed Maths lecture, programming lecture, programming tute, and programming lab. Decided with group that finishing the mod over the weekend and copping a 10% penalty was better than handing it in incompleted.
So, bluntly put, my week has been a total fucking shambles. I'm relieved that at least I don't have to be overly concerned about skipping any more classes (since the mod's going in on monday), but I still have my Imaging and Animation assignment due at some unknown time next week - I've heard it's Friday, but I don't know if that's accurate. If it turns out to be Monday, then I am screwed fullstop.
All I can do now is wait for next week to be over - then I have the boring, mindless, tedious tediousness of the holdiays to look forward to.
